The Rocket was primed and bottled (well - most of it was force carbed in a corny, but I normally get 6-8 bottles over and above each corny of beer).

However, I find myself in the same predicament as I have several cornies of high strength beers that I'm just not drinking fast enough, so I should probably bottle them from the cornies and stick them away to free up the cornies. BUT - I'll wear my heart on my sleeve here and say that i think bottle conditioned beers will age better than force carbed ones, although they may not have the same max shelf life as there could be issues with yeast autolysis.

Well....i said I'd brew this again soon and I've just checked my hops and it's "Thunderbirds are GO".

Bit late to start, but I'll just a 60 mash and boil today. Our eldest is having a bunch of kids round for a sleepover tonight, so I think it's best that I stay in the garage anyway....

Worst. Brewday. Ever.

Once I've finished up and got over the trauma, I'll stick up a brewday thread :?
