hi,

thanks for all the encouraging comments guys! i can't believe it went so smoothly...the only experience i have so far is 1 coopers lager and a coopers stout kit!!!
me grandad and dad were both brewers tho so i'm hoping its in the blood!

edit-oh and a turbo cider! and all this since i came across jbk by accident on jan 26 2010, and an idle fancy became a way of life.

Thats my dads house. almost everything in it is older than me and i'm 35! so old its almost fashionable again :lol:

I've only done 2 AG now, and I'm glad nothing went wrong for you. I'll see if I can post the near disaster that was my second AG soon, but I'm absolutely buggered after being away on a course for a week being talked at in management-speak.

It's the finer things in life that keep us sane, when the work-flows and cost-benefit analysis rubbish got too much, I just daydreamed about making more beer. Got a nice Ringwood 49'er on draught at the local boozer, so it wasn't a complete waste of time.
