Needs more hops :P

No, seriously, that looks good. Why have 60 AND 90 minute hop additions though?

Yeah, I normally would think that is a waste of time. No harm in it though. Just following a recipe.

Normally I just go with a 60 minute and 0 minute.

How did it turn out? Dont think I will be able to enter anything into that. Particularly that would rival your monster.

Seems to be ticking over OK, I just got my normal brew length out the kettle so I lost a tonne to hops already.

I had a wasp nest in the garage were I brew which I destroyed yesterday, felt good. :D

Never used Simcoe before. The smell out of the pack was amazing.

Awsome. Yeah the losses are pretty huge. PITA so it is.

Great stuff on the wasps nest. Little [censored], did you steam them out? Simcoe are superb, they were great in the Einherjar IIPA. Some going in my hoppy big bastard that I will be making soon.

Just incase your wondering the Cave have 90min IPA, Hop Devil and Raging Bitch Belgian IPA in. Got a good selection of American and germans apart from that too.

Any water treatment to bring out the best in those hops?

Osh, I just whacked it down with a length of copper pipe, stood on it, then hoovered it up.

Delboy, just threw an arbitrary 2 tsp of Gypsum in the grist and two in the boil, should do the trick. It got the pH to the correct level anyway.

Sounds fun. I do enjoy attacking stuff with pipe.
