No I just sprinkled! In hindsight I think maybe at least a rehydration may have been kinder. It seems to be slowly chugging through to the FG though.

Well we are down to 1033. Had a taste, it's very treacle and toffee. Put it in to demijons for a good few months. There is still some champagne yeast in solution. I hope it creeps down some more over a few more months.

Bottled this. Tasted A LOT better. Bitterness is gone. Replaced with smooth licorice, tobacco and chocolate flavours. Oh and a big alcoholic kick. This is a one bottle a night beer.

Yeah been away for 6 months. So I just left it gassed up in a corny. Bottling from a corny is so easy, I might start doing it for my bitters too. Although I am still "old school" and tend to bottle straight from the FV after a few weeks!
It tastes good though. Time has been kind to this one.
