So how do you start your siphon without contamination?

I use this method just with a metal tee and silicon hose so I can boil it to sterilize

I stick a small inline tap on the end and then a small piece of tubing on that. Suck through the small piece of tubing, close the tap, remove small piece of tubing and open the tap as I place the main tube and tap into the receiving vessel. :D
