Cheers Chaps! :D

BrewDay1 Done & Dusted at 11:30 ended up with 25L at 1046 pitched DaaB's flying starter (s04) gonna prep for tomorrow later on :shock: had a slight hiccup after i'd added the extra sweet wort and took my eye off the boiler, lost about 1 litre in a boil over (the garage floor smells great now). Didn't take any pic's on this one, will try to tomorrow.

TLC Twist..DONE!

Mrs Wez has just offered to get the boiler on the go for tomorrows brew and wake me when it hits temp.

I've got a good-un haven't I :D

Todays brew is going mental already, looking forward to another brew tomorrow 8)

Mash Started at 8:15, 15 mins after I got out of bed thanks to Mrs Wez sorting the boiler out for me! 8)

I upped the grain bill to get a slightly stronger beer, Target OG 1047 (75% eff) so should be around 4.5%

Grumpy Bum.

4730.00 (was 4130) gm Marris Otter Grain 91.0 %
470.00 (was 410) gm Crystal Malt Grain 9.0 %
60.00 gm Northdown [6.50%] (90 min) Hops 40.0 IBU
25.00 gm Styrian Goldings [2.00%] (15 min) (Aroma Hop-Steep) Hops
