Really happy with this. It ages really well, and the high finishing gravity makes it a real unexpected treat.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.

Pleased to hear of success with this one, Jocky!
Your experiences highlight the benefits to be had in researching recipes, ingredients, techniques and in experimentation for yourself, while being bold and willing to take a risk can indeed pay off.
FWIW, I'm keen to use greater proportions of Amber malt, I have been trying a Rye Robust Porter recipe that so far is just magnificent, but I wonder if 10-15% Amber or perhaps even more may improve the next batch.
