Suffering from insomnia quite badly so good for nothing the mo :?
Might rack 100% Satisfaction to secondary if I can muster the energy.

Nothing to worry about though, you've made up for my absence 8)

Cheers! Thats the bottom bit (patio) the lawn is up those steps to the left, should have got a J_P tent and brewed up there.

Got plans for a permanent brew shed up there (swmbo kinda signed it off last night 8) ) She also said this morning "Wouldn't you be better doing 10 gallon brews?" :shock: \:D/

Result! Now that mini Wez MkII is imminent you'll have less time to brew so technically it would be more efficient to brew 10 gallon batches

The proposed brewshed section is currently a decked area tucked away at the top right hand corner, thats a 3m x 3m patch. Hmmmmmm :-k

Get yourself a shed, you don't want 5 gallons of hot wort around in a house with a little one crawling about in. Safety first Wez you must get a brew shed!

Personally this winter I'll be brewing in the greenhouse it's almost a brew shed!

Yeah, shed it'll be, not until spring though, thinking of setting the 5 gallon kit up permamently in the garage for now.

Transferring to the FV at the moment, this is how it looks, nice colour :D

Nah, had a few yesterday afternoon but was good last night :wink:

Well all done and dusted, overshot my expected efficiency, got 25L at 1056, was expecting 1049 so 84.8 brewhouse efficiency. Looks like I could have stopped collecting wort sooner again. I think i'm going to look into targetting 65% efficiency and getting real good quality extract from the grains. A bit of pencil sharpening I think.

Anyway, here's the money shot.

Good luck to anyone else having a brewday today.
