That hopstopper worked a treat mate.

First couple of litres looked like chicken soup so I shat myself, but then realised it was just the wort already inside the hopstopper before the whirfloc was added and protein had coagulated, I guess the proteins in that wort formed inside the stopper see.

After that first couple of litres it was a clear as you can get, 2 FVs bubbling away no sign of trub as yet.

Don't credit me with that idea :D, I nicked it from the retail site . . . .just made a few modifications to 'improve' it (IMNSHO) and fit it into my kit
