Here's the draught version then. I was forced to have a cheeky half.

It is malty but dry with a pleasant hoppy after thought. Poncey enough description? No? Right, it would probably go best with crushed juniper berry sorbet on a hot day in an apple orchard just south of the Thames estuary just after chopping some reeds for a cottage thatch.

In actual fact, it's just an honest, uncomplicated pale ale. Nice. Try it.

well ive decided to have a go at this today, currently mashing..

im following this with the 2 hour mash and boil

if i wereto boil a bit longer would it make much difference? (not wanting to boil more but due to time i have to nip out during the boil process leaving my missus here....

so if it went2.5 hours what diff would it make, good or bad??

worth a though mate.

OR would i be better off leaving the mash an extended period while im out?

i started the mash at about 9.30. so in 15mins thats a 2 hour mash. i need to go out at 12, so would it be better to leave the coolerbox full of grain while im out and then drain and sparge when i get in and do the 2 hour boil?

bad timing this, i should have made the brew this afto instead...
