I am using warm vodka to extract the flavour from the hops then adding the vodka to the fermentation.
Hop tea but with vodka not water. I discovered it by accident when I was blending beer.

No mention on the MM site regarding max temp. A quick Google suggest 120 degC.

Amazing. I'm intrigued. How did you discover it 'by accident'? Which part of beer blending involves soaking hops in warm vodka?!!

Not really my discovery. Lots of things use solvents to extract flavours, particularly the perfume industry.
Warm solvent it's even better. Had some success using the microwave. Next time I think it needs a longer stand.
