Wow, a lot of beer getting brewed here! Has anyone done the latest totting up of how many gallons we have?

I'll have a go at a final total tomorrow once the nightshift has had a chance to get finished brewing! :=P

How much do you think I should add to 23 litres?
Hmm, well I'm no expert but fiddling about on Beersmith suggests that adding about 650g of DME to 23 litres would add about 10 points to your OG? If I was in your position I would go with that and then take another sample to check...
Primary : AG138 Amarillo Pale Ale
Conditioning : AG137 Mosaic Pale Ale
Drinking: AG131 London Bitter, AG132 Yorkshire Bitter, AG133 Guinnish, AG134 Witbier, AG135 Challenger Pale Ale, AG136 Kveik IPA,
Planning: Perle faux lager

This has been great fun watching all the brewdays appearing on the thread - well done everyone. =D>

I started early. Forgot to take the standard grain shot but sparging now. Image

All looking good so far. Temp of mash stayed at steady 66C for full 90mins.

Going for a target of 23l

And no comments about my untidy garage. It's the brewing that counts not how organised your garage is!!

I might have to have a sneak down to the beer shack to see how mine is getting on later :)

I'll wait a while to make sure all the brews to be posted then I'll make a list up of who has brewed, how much and the grand total.

Me and a friend will be doing this brew sometime in the week for his first AG with my old equipment. Planning 12 litres in the FV if we go AG or may doing a partial mash for full volume, will keep you updated.

I ended up with my expected 23l at OG 1050. Happy days. All tucked up in the brew fridge now. Roll on Christmas when this gets rigged up to my beer engine.

I've just sneaked a look in the brewfridge and we have lift off!
The SO4 is doing it's thing... beautiful sweet hoppy smells coming from the fermenter, I'm really pleased with how this brew went.

Cheers
Steve
