Hello all,
Today was my first crack at the All Grain , i did Paul from Barley Bottoms bitter and twisted clone.
All went well except for lack of liquor, which resulted in several mad dashes from shed to kitchen and back again.
I ended up with 4 gallons of 10.45, maybe i could of added a bit of water but i'll see what this one comes out like.

Here's the pics -

Mash on - Topped up with a bit of Hot.

Sparge away nicely.

Running off.

Boil away (Only used One element, could'nt find the other kettle lead

 )

Image

The Braided hop stopper worked a treat, i did give it a stretch and that expanded the holes a bit better.

Image

Wort - Quite clear, What do you think?

10.45 - Can't wait for a taste of this 8)

I actually ended up with 4, 3/4 gallons but my boiler won't drain down enough so, i tipped the rest into a demijon with a bit of yeast. Just to see if it's any good. 8)

I wouldn't worry about the slight loss of volume. Should be a mighty fine beer by the looks of things. Well done 8)
