How did you get tap fitted to ouside of coolbox without flooding the polystyrene compartment?

i shaved a bit of plastic off the tap so that it would go further through the wall then used a washer with some brassware on the inside

Cheers
I add grain to water, it's all hidden though - I spend about five minutes stirring and squashing all the balls to ensure complete soakage...

It is indeed - fingers crossed!

second hop addition

chiller going in for last 15minutes

whirlfloc fizzing away

aeration using gravity alone...

trub left behind
23L @ 1.048 - just about what I was looking for - will be around 5% ABV which is near enough bottled Hobgoblin which is what I'm trying an alternative slant on
65% efficiency so no change there
Cheers Orfy for grain bill taken from your Hobgoblin clone

Hey after reading the post from the irish boys about the ancient sites actually being breweries and the trough they used to make beer. I have found the missing piece that proves them right.
evidence
see it's R's spiral IC !
