Water is eventually on after what could have been a show stopper!

The live soldered lead to the immersion element parted company when i was reinstalling the HLT after a descaling.
10 min later with a trusty Dremel had the solder spot ground down and a new connection via a 30A connector block.

It will be a HERMS when the PID control panel gets built.
But there is also a foil backed camping mat under there 8)

Todays mash lost 2 degrees in the 90mins.
So its not to bad, the HERMS recirc will easily make up the difference.

Renamed - Taffy's Tipple on account of St.Davids Day being brew day.

Best fermentation ever with Nottingham yeast.
1.044 down to 1.008 in 8 days, Promash calculates that at over 80% attenutation and a right tasty beer at 4.7% abv 8)

Do i use leeks or daffs on the bottle labels?
