Got home from work at 6am this morning and straight away put the HLT on. 50 mins later the Mash is under way dead on 67c.
Another brew with guess work on my part.
4100 Pale malt
100 Roasted Barley
50 Flaked Wheat
400 Golden Syrup
30 Fuggles
10 Challenger
Gervin Yeast
Will take a couple of snaps and post with my next instalment.

Boiling away nicely. I've taken a few photos but can't work out how to post them.

Not very good at this online pc stuff!!

All done and in the temp controlled cupboard.
Mashed for 90mins
Boiled for 75mins
23 Litres
SG 1058
Next up Old Speckled Hen. Think that'll be tomorrow

Nice setup, I'm doing my smoked porter at the mo but being a lazy bastard I only started at 12:30!

Thought ya'll may like to know. I've barrelled Warmin' #6 today . The FG was down to 1012 making it 6.00%
I'll let you know what its like when its conditioned.
Why do we have to wait soooo long????????????
