Had a rare day off today so after feeding the animals I decided to brew the London Pride clone recipe that Norm provided. I decided to do the complete 25 litres as I couldn't be bothered to scale it down. The only minor drama I had was forgetting to put the hop strainer in the boiler, but that was quickly rectified by tipping the wort into a fermenter and attaching the strainer and tipping the wort back in. I also did the same as Iowalad and added some black malt for colour as I have no brewers caramel.

London Pride 25 Litres

3.9kg Pale Malt
306g Flaked Maize
130g Crystal 60L
30g Black Malt

Mash 66c 90 mins
Boil 90 mins

Target 11g [11%] 90 mins
Northdown 10g [7.9%] 90 mins
Challenger 11g [7%] 90 mins

Northdown 10g [7.9%] 15 mins

Cheers guys, yeah it was an easy day, I finally got to see the Dane Cook tour I'd recorded on the $ky box. Man that guy is funny

PS: I still get a chuckle when i see your wort bubbling away in a plastic bucket. Love it!
