Sorry Gurgeh, no photos 'til I've finished this avo. Am sure you can find something else to do better than work though, mind you it is a bit early for a pint...

:?: 29L at 62.5degC of 1.058 :shock: Something's wrong. That's 114% efficiency :lol:

In a knee-jerk reaction I put another 25g of Challenger in at 45 mins (it'll always mellow given time), I'll have a more relaxed look at the end.

That reads wrong I meant after adjusting for temp it's 1.058 :roll: Still all very wrong though.

Looks good there Si, and you seemed to have lucked upon a new brewing technique "Quantum Brewing" :lol: You appear to be extracting wort from another dimension :lol:

I have discovered 'Dark' wort. Cool. Is there a nobel prize for Brewing, there should be.
Trying to sort these pics out now, back in a bit.

@RSE, @RSE, @RSE!!!

Ended up very nicely with 22L of 1.044 wort, but my STUPID knee-jerk reaction to what appears now to have been a false hydro reading post mash, I upped the bittering hops so the brew is now not balanced as I intended. BU:GU 1.063 rather than aimed for 0.75. How am I supposed to hone anything when every brew something happens to shift the goal posts. :x Serves me right for getting up at 6am for this. All my fault but again......another lesson learned. :evil: Patience and levelheadedness, of course the sample couldn't be that.
There will be pics just as soon as photobucket finishes upload the 37 of them :lol: .
