My first ag lager this afternoon

brewing this recipe in about 1 hour so all sugestions are welcome [-o<

3 kilo lager malt
500 grams caramalt
500 grams flaked maize
400 grams brewing sugar
saaz hops A/A 3.0% 80 grams for 60 minutes
saaz hops A/A 3.0 % 20 grams for 30 minutes (using up the pack)
irish moss (teaspoon) for 10 mins

90 minute mash @67 deg and 60 minute boil

never made an all grain lager before so im after doing this so it will be ready for BBQ season :D so all help is appreciated

Good one. Wish I had somewhere to lager properly as my bday is in June and I want at least two on the go for then.

ive got a fridge at work that is going into the shed this lager will have 1 week in the dinning room the off to the shed for a month or so
I should end up with enough wort for 1 corny keg and about 8 bottles :lol: (i hope)

FANTASTIC :D

ended up with 25 ltr of wort at 1041 ish so RESULT :lol:

dont know to be honest i just wanted a corny and about 8 bottles of lager @ about 4 - 4.5% abv which i got so im happy :D
