Today i brewed Bramling Beauty. After looking around at different recipes, this one caught my eye, for the use of Amber malt and of course just Bramling hops :D I had 500g of Amber and wondered what the flavour was like, so in 5-6 weeks i will find out  Anyway the brewday went fine, except i will have to adjust my boil loss percentage on the batch spage calculator as i come up short by 4ltrs (or reduce the setting on my element as the boil my be to fierce) i collected 18ltrs at 1.060 and topped up with 4ltrs of treated water to bring me to the desired 1.051 SG. Then added my 1ltr starter :=P
So on with the recipe and of course photos :D

Looks good, you should notice a good dunt of Bramling flavour with the 15 minute hop addition. I've got a vacuum pack of them waiting to be used in something like this.

Amber malt, to me, has a toasted sesame seed type of flavour to it.

I found the Amber Malt gave a strange oily/charcoaly taste to the beer in its green state, but it mellows out quickly to a real nice pint.
