Well, off to an iffy start today due to my boiler/mash tun springing a leak. Fixed it but it took another hour before I was ready to start proper.

Anyway, The Pistonbroke Broke Brewery Presents -

Beersmith lists Glucose as ; "Corn Sugar (Dextrose) "

I edited mine to just say Dextrose.

Anyways, looks like a canny brew!

Yeah, all went pretty well, no sign of action yet but I didn't make a starter so it usually takes a day or so to kick into life.

This one is going to end up more like a lager (which is the plan). I'm hoping for more mouthfeel than a typical lager and more hop taste/aroma too but it will be served chilled at about 5C and should be ready for the middle to end of June.

Cheers guys, I do like them hoppy.

I must say, before turning to home brewing and especially AG I wasn't much of drinker. What I mean is I didn't "look into" a pint and think of what I could really taste.

Is it just me that get's that look from mates when your all in the pub, they see you hold the beer up to the light, take a sniff, then a drink followed by "it's allright, not as good as mine though..."
