Roger's Brewday 3/5/08 (extract)

As mentioned in a previous thread my next brew would be the extract version of the Gouden Charlie recipe from the Pierre Rajotte book on Belgian Ale.
Yesterday afternoon John from the H&G dropped off my new boiler
Yes I know you've seen one before but this is mine and I love it


and today it was christened with this little lot.

I did wonder where I would get Orange blossom honey from but the local Co-Op have it
The book gives a OG of 1.070 as my wasn't an exact copy I'm not too worried mine has turned out at 1.060. Strong enough I think and as long as it tastes good who cares
