Luckily the compost bins are full of beer soaked worms already  I must now go and work out my alkalinity by titrating down to 4.3pH and then calculate the acid additions for this size of brew. I must say that I think my HLT is a little small at 100 litres. I may have to heat the mash liquor, refill and then do a single batch sparge followed by a spinny sparge with an adapted phils spinny sparge arm. Pictures will be issued as the day goes on.

This is the 100 litre HLT being filled with 60 litres of carbon filtered mash liquor. This will be boiled tonight and left to cool overnight. The pH and alkalinity will be checked in the morning prior to mashing commencing.

I proper laughed out loud with the first two pic's. Door closed, door open-open looked not too dissimilar from closed! I was expecting a big shiny brewery and i got some timber and what appears to be a rake. I love your style. LOL.
I spat beer all over the place and some of it even came out of my nose.
Still laughing, nice one Bandit. 8)

I should have recovered in ten mins. Just in time to see the brewery's 170ltr batch progress.

NB. I am bowing and chanting 'i'm not worthy'-170ltr batch is RIGHTEOUS
