Hi all

Brewed this last night, Old ale


1.060 20 litres

Maris otter 4.74kg
Crystal 55L 200g
Special B 150g
Black patent 130g
Treacle 140g

Hops

EKG 45g 6Omins
EKG 34g 10mins
Fuggles 34g 10mins

Yeast
WLP005 (Ringwood) 2l starter, 1L of slurry added

Especially if some one accidentally adds one of them blue pills instead of 5.2 pH stabilizer :wink:

Now I understand why I can never quite get the perfect English pint. I can see that when I learned to brew there were some steps left out.

Kegged this last night FG 1.015 (5.9%)

I plan to give this a few weeks before tasting and may a couple of months of aging, the mind is willing......................... :D
