I managed to manouver a half day off and got a brew on. The plan was to increase the brewlength to 32 litres to allow me to fill a big and a small cornie but my half-arsed attempt to get a manifold for my my 50l mash tun meant that I was back to using the picnic box (hopefully for the last time).

This is obviously a Bitter and Twisted Clone (Castle Campbell being an ancient structure overlooking Dollar) as I am looking for something fruity for the summer BBQ's. :)

Almost an hour into the boil now and I was just sterilising the fermetation bucket when I noticed the hop strainer sitting beside the sink. I think I'll go and look out the sieve.

Bummer you hate it when that happens, hopefully it'll be fine anyway.

Everthing turned out fine. The wort is sitting in the bucket cooling down. I'll pitch the yeast in the morning. :)
