My worst brewday ever!!! What a waste of 3 & half hours.

Had a good one? Tell us about it here - and don't forget - we like pictures!

Just had to tip an extract i made down the sink. DOG WAS ONLY F**KING WELL DRINKING IT whilst it was cooling. Yes its my fault i hadnt put the lid on it.
I thought it couldnt get any worse after i killed my yeast starter before that. Only put the yeast in the microwave instead of the sugary liquid. What a div.

Oh well start again tomorrow.

Sorry to laugh at your misfortune . . . . Shoot the dog

I was transferred my beer to corny today . . . Filled the Baby 9, which has had 45g priming sugar in 200ml of water added to it. . . . Filled nicely, Got the first of 4 grown up corni and start filling that, move the second into place and hear something sloshing about . . . Oh yeah I left a couple of litres of peracetic in the big ones to keep them sweet after cleaning them . . . . . SHIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!! forgot to drain them from the keg I'm just filling . . . 1/3 of a keg down the drain  end up with 3 full corny casks (did ya see whit I did there ;) ) a baby corny that I'm going to bottle from, and about 4L in the 4th corny cask

Its going to be better when fully clear and carbonated . . .but its a nice pint. . . Off to bottle now

Sounds like a brew day everyone fears but inevitably has! Stick it in the recent 'Homebrew disaster' thread in the Tap Room, and brew next weekend :D

Even if you'd have pitched you could still have re-boiled, you'd just have more yeasty nutrients for the next lot of yeast

I'd have just pitched it anyway :)
Then I'd have printed out a label and named it 'dogspit'.

Quite so - who's to say a similar incident was not behind "Chalky's Bite" ?
