London Pride and Theakstons that is. Remarkably similar recipe so I will be eager to taste the differences. Recipies from Wheeler's British Ales.

Very nice indeed!

Is that a false bottom for the Burco I can see? I'm looking to use a Burco for my boiler... is the false bottom easy to come by, also is it preferable to a hop strainer? (questions questions  )

Tidy set up, so do you boil the two worts in seperate kettles at the same time or do them one after the other?

Multitasking at its best! Don't worry the cooker is not involved-and I do turn it off at the mains prior to a boil- just happens to be a handy rest for the boilers and directly under the extractor hood that I have going at Mach 2 during the boil.

Still not much spilled all day and the only thing I forgot was the Target hops for the Pride -so I substituted a slightly larger amount of Northdown instead. Will this be noticable?

Nice setup. Nice fridge too, wonder how many fv's, kegs and cornies you could fit in it...?

The HLT is rapidly emptied (liquor saved for topping up of course) and employed as a boiler so I boil both at the same time (different power rings to save the plug socket melting!) :D

Well Steve I don't want to incur the wrath of my wife so I said I will confine the beer to the fridge in the shed.....

Very nice setup indeed. Wee's all over my lil' underbench fridge/freezer.

Still, it's not the size it's what you do with it that counts...Ahem

Is that shelf safe with two full cornies on?

Sweet looking setup!

Not sure I could handle two at a time......although this hobby seems to involve periods of waiting followed by periods of frantic activity. I suppose if you staggered the two bathches correclty it wouldn't be much harder.
