The jacket I don't use any more and fits around the FV nicely keeping the sun out and helps keep it at a steady temp, Under the zip is a stick on thermometer so undo the zip check the temp.

This should turn out to be a nice brew, This also felt a little more like brewing beer rather than the tinned kits. 8)

Nice pics hope it goes well.

If I was you i would move the FV away from the printer just incase you get a crazy fermentation going and you dont want a volcanic eruption of yeast spraying every where,or put a pint glass over the airlock so it dont spray the printer.

I put a black bag over the printer as its not being used at the moment.

Well the brew so far ! Its like a a freight train and has a good 3 inches of foam on the top of it , It has also gone up in temp to 29 - 30c so I will have to take the coat off it and change that for a bin bag to keep the light off it.

Goto admit this has turned out quite fruity and 5% ish well thats the story so far, its been in a keg for 2 weeks and still a little cloudy but clearing nicley, If it lasts long enough to mature properly im hoping it turnes out good but this may not happen as im loathed to buy beer these days, I will definatley be doing this one again but with a LME next time and I may just dry hop to get it a little more hopy.

The fruitiness is probably due to the high fermenting temps. Try and keep it below 25 to avoid it in future, saying that, I quite like the fruitiness from high temps :?

More than likley as this was brewed during our mini heat wave :? well autumn is upon us now so are cooler temps which will help, I should be able to geat quite a few brews under my belt and stop over next summer so im not brewing while it is hot unless i can get that garage sorted and a fridge to brew in :D
