After consuming the majority of my current stock with help from people celebrating my daugheters 1st birthday (they drank almost two cornies the bar-stewards!) I decided to get a brew on today in the form of Grogans Morning Glory from Barley bottom.

10G brewlength:

8kg MO
800g Crystal 60L
120g Northdown 90min
48g Styrian Bobecs 80c steep 30mins (recipe says 10 min boil but I like to steep)

Currently 53ish Litres bubbling away in the boiler @ 1038 preboil with 60mins to go.

The northdowns smell lovely!

I hope this is as nice as the Northdown wonder which went down particularily well.

Ended up with 45L @ 1045 so just about bang on :)

Used the completed Nordic mash tun this time round too with the newly arrived morebeer domed SS false bottom. All worked well.

Right, back to my sofa, hope everybody had a good BH.

Glad you had a good one.

I love 10g brews saves so much time and effort but only with beers you like, 10g of experimental chocolate beer would be hell.

I decided to use my kegerator as an FV chamber for this brew, the H&G 60L FV fits nice and snug, set the ATC to 20c and she's still bubbling away happily on day 4 with the yeast head in decline.

Note: When fermentating in a fridge you don't half get a lovely smell when you open the door
