Brewday- Autumn Gold

Hi all
Im finally having a quite day so I thought id stick on a brew, just a little somthing i made up this morning.
Autumn Gold
7kg Maris Otter
700g Amber malt
500g Crystal malt
500g Torrified wheat
100g Roast barley
45g Susan hops 90min boil
20g Pearle hops 90min boil
25g Susan hops 15min boil
30g Susan hops 1min boil
30g Pearle hops 1min boil
10 gallon batch
39.8 IBU
13 SRM
4.5 ABV

I've not come across Susan hops before - what are they like?

Its a new hops ive got from the suppliers just trying them out AA9.8 they smell great.

Hi Reaper,
I'll watch this one with interest - the two I've brewed from you have have been stunning so far
Just got the grogans done BH weekend weekend and is crash cooling at the moment.
Smells lubly!

Those Susan hops look quite good... It'll be interesting to see what comes through with that grain bill!

It will be interesting to see how hoppy it is, with that much 9.8%!

I'm interested to know if these super aroma hops are all they're cracked up to be - have you sampled yet? .

http://www.charlesfaram.co.uk/Variety.asp#UK%20HEDGEROW? They do look good, but personally I think that the Hilary variety look even better - any chance you'll be getting some of those in? Even better: any chance you can point me in the direction of someone who can sell me a rhizome?
