After whiling the Summer [sic] months dealing with DSL outages and caravaning holidays I decided it's about time to get back to brewing. I started off with a simple brew just to get back into the swing of it.

Lazy Brewery Gold Bitter

Est OG 1050
Act OG 1050

Mash 90mins
Boil 60mins

4kg Marris Otter

40g First Gold [7.5%] 60 mins
15g First Gold [7.5%] 15 mins

S04

No pictures I'm afraid, I was too busy pissing around with my new wind turbine with a speccy bloke to take any  No dramas at any time although wifey hates the smell of these hops in particular.

Good efficiency there, subsub. I don't think i could get 1050 from a 4kg grist. I love first gold, so i might have to give this one a punt.

Vossy, cheers m8. Tastes great especially if you have it on draft in Dorset.

Max, I always get reasonably good efficiency as I've been using mostly the same kit for well over 15 years  Worth taking a punt on, as I've brewed this many a time and it always turns out to be a decent pint.

Iowalad, yeah it needs cutting down a tad. I don't know what I was thinking

Buzz, that has already been discussed with the wife and she's putting her foot down with an emphatic no. Guess she could really do with some more diamonds as per usual
