Wahey! Back in brewing business after an all-too-long 5 month summer break
. Down to the last corni so in the nick of time too
.
As per my post in the recipes section, this is something I knocked together to use up some ingredients I've had lying around whilst the weather's been to warm to brew, should hopefully come out like a strong Golden Ale with APA leanings, and most of all be ready fairly quickly
.
Squamish Summer Pale
Size: 23L
Original Gravity: 1.048
Terminal Gravity: 1.012
Alcohol: 4.71%
Bitterness: 36.6 IBU
Ingredients:
4670 g Lager Malt
150 g Wheat Malt
55.0 g Willamette (5.2%) - added during boil, boiled 90 min
15.0 g Willamette (5.2%) - added during boil, boiled 15.0 min
20 g Willamette (5.2%) - steeped after boil
10.0 g Willamette (5.2%) - added dry to primary fermenter
Just about to start the sparge, mash temp a little lower than usual - I'm a bit rusty having not brewed for so long
