It should be OK. I Presuming you get about 65ish % efficiency, you should get a nicely balanced light ale.

Having a play with the EKG are we?

Yeh, it's the first time with beersmith, and a first for single malt. single hop!
Just want to run it by the experts to save 5hrs wwasted brewing tomorrow.

My only concern is that if you hit 75% efficiency or higher, you're going to be in the 1.060's gravity wise, then the hop schedule might be a bit weak. You could always dry hop later, or you could just write it up to experience. You may also find you despise EKG!

TBH you can't go wrong with a pale/goldings single varietal brew; it was my first AG and I loved it! The trick is to get the IBUs right where your hop rate/ mash efficiency comes into play.

Maybe notch up the goldings? Even after 10 AG brews I find the biggest mistake I ALWAYS make is under-collecting wort.

I think the Syrup could make the beer a bit thin for a strongish ale like this. I'd drop it or add some crystal for body.
