poncy foreign stuff

spent the last three years growing 2 dozen vines.

so despite it being a little early to harvest, i've been forced to harvest all grapes. this is them just picked.
it looks a lot of grapes, each bunch is nice and heavy and sweet and well flavoured.
i tell you what though. i've just spent the last 3 hrs de-stemming and crushing them. i've pressed the white grapes and have got a walloping half bloody gallon. The red grapes are the larger crop and are in the fridge macerating at 3C. that full bucket of red grapes is now 2 gallons of purple mush.
i havn't really drunk any wine since going AllGrain, so i'm not particularly excited about it any more and less excited about the meager yield (granted it's half what i'll get in future years).
I can press a dozen gallons of cider or brew a 10Gallon length of proper drink in a little over that time!
more irritatingly, I havn't had the chance to have a pint tonight and now i'm knackered and going to bed!
grumble grumble.
