Well, have just pitched the yeast on the last of my winter beers. They were Belhaven 90shillings and Big Lamp Old Genie. Hit the 1070OG on the Belhaven, but only got 1069OG on the Old Genie.
Bottled Holden's XL last week and Hoskins&Oldfield Old Navigation is ready to be bottled on Thursday. So I'm a bit tired, but happy as my winter sippers are brewed, if not all bottled yet
Wondered what winter beers the rest of Jim's have planned?

for the chrismas beers, cant go wrong with a good pint of winter warner.
I've just put mine on which is a Strong Chrismas Ale as the recipe called it, which is a pants name and I think needs renaming to something more appropriate santa sled fuel maybe?
Are yours Kits, AG or extract?
Good on yer for the qty though

All 25 litre AG recipes from Graham Wheeler's BYORAAH book. Not been able to do them before as the mash tun would not hold the amount of grain required, but OK now with a trusty thermo box.

Yup Lee, probably the best bit of brewing kit I've invested in. The Graham Wheeler twin FV mash tun worked well, but the thermo box is easier to clean and doesn't need camping mats or duvets wrapped around it. Used it for 39 brews now and am really pleased with it
Shame you missed the meeting at the Bricklayers Arms, it was a cracker.
