I brewed a Conistone Bluebird Bitter clone (reciepe off this site) and after last weeks dissaster of not sparging long enough, i mashed early doors, wrapped it in an old sleeping bag then braved the weather and went for a hike over a local hill, got back bottled the wifes lager then sparged my brew (in mash tun for 3hrs 40mins but temp was still good) took a reading before pitching and the temp was down to spot on 20 C and the hydrometer gave me SG 1036, and after looking back at the receipe on the site i hit it bang on, the actuall brew went very well to, probably the easiest one so far in terms of being set up properly and everything going right, just hope she tastes like she should, i`ll let you know.
Just hope my Fiddlers Elbow dissaster from last week also turns out ok in terms of taste, not to bothered about ABV content as long as she tastes good, i`ll also keep you posted about that one to.
