Busy boy! My plan is to always have 3 barrels on the go at once, seeing as I've just emptied the last few pints of AG#1 from my barrel I need to get another one on so that it's ready for the new year. I still had some Pilser malt left over from a previous brew aswell as some goldings and czech saaz hops. Sooo this the my very first recipe made from scratch. A mixture of British and Bohemian ingredients, thus Brithemian, geddit?

4250 gms Marris Otter
250 gms Pilsner malt

40 gms Goldings (4.5% AAU's) 90 mins - start of boil
25 gms Czech Saaz (2.8% AAU's) 15 mins - end of boil
15 gms Goldings (4.5%) 5 mins - end of boil

1 Packet of Safale S-04

Pictures to follow later when I'm finished :)

As promised here are some pics, it went relatively smoothly, not too keen on this flimsy bucket FV though, much prefer my other one. Far more solid and easier to carry.

The ingredients

First runnings, not sure how but some of the grain kept coming through the tap?!?!?

Hot break and addition of first hops

And here's the OG, did I mention this was a Blonde beer :)

Lovely stuff. Looks like you're going to be sorted for beer for Christmas!
