Summer Lager

I have all the beer I need for Crimbo so I'm thinking ahead to summer and fingers crossed, "sunshine & BBQ". I'm brewing this in hope it will be my staple summer-time beverage. I chose to use the Flava-pack as the first lager kit i brewed (Coopers Mexican Cerveza) is a bit lacking, and for the life of me I don't know how to describe whats missing. Certainly could do with a bit more hopiness/body/flavor. Non the less it is very drinkable. Not bad for my first brew.
Summer time brewing
Brewferm Gold 2x12ltr
1kg Brupacks Candi Sugar Crystals
1 Flavapack
Saflager S-23
Yeast-vit
liquor to make up to 23 litres

Malt extract warmed for pour-ability, Flava-pack steeping, Candi Sugar dissolving in the big pan in 1 litre of liquor.

In goes the malt extract

Licked em clean

Spent Flava-packs... smelt mmmmmm

SG Looks about bob-on

I was a bit last minute with this brew so i decided to sprinkle the yeast on to the wort.

10 minutes later and it looks yeasty. Gently mixed in to the wort, lid snapped on and aerated.

I forgot to buy some priming sugar. Any suggestions as what to use to prime? More dissolved Candi Sugar?
I usually use what I'm advised to use from the guy in the Homebrew Shop!
Next up... after this weeks bulk buy by Ditch, is has to be the famous Ditch stout. Cant help my self... I have to try it.
