Got my Landlord brew going at the moment, just time to post a couple of piccies while i'm reducing some of the first runnings.
Didn't bother with GP, just using my sack of Maris Otter.
Recipe is 95% MO 5% Golden Syrup to a gravity of 1.042. 40 IBUs from Fuggles, plus 30g of Styrians at 10 minutes, then a further 70g while cooling. Wyeast 1469.
Phone pics are a bit crappy!
Reducing first runnings
Sparging
March pump in full flow

Nice one. Have fun.
70g whilst cooling!

£3.00 of hops. That's for aroma presumably, would it not be similar to dry hop a lesser amount? I'm asking, not suggesting, what's your experience?

Fair point, actually. I held back 30g of hops to dry hop with.
Successful brew day mostly, only hiccup was racking my previous batch, I was off weighing hops or something while I was filling the first keg full of my Dubbel... you guessed it, several gallons ended up in the garage floor

I've done the same thing.
Let us know how you get on!
Haze dropped out of mine and it is a very pleasing pont now.

Oh I think I get a different sort of aroma steeping v dry hopping. Comparing E K G - dry seems more grassy whilst steeping imparts more of a floral aroma.

I think you're both right. I'm only going to dry hop if the aroma fades.
From the smell from the fermenter, Styrian bobek seems a bit more 'piney' than regular Styrians. Not sure if this is what it will be like in the finished beer. I've got some regular Styrians to brew with next week so it will be interesting to try them back to back.
