Mash is done and its all in for the boil after dumping a litre on the floor ](*,) ( note to self ensure the boiler tap os off ) I am hoping for about 5% as usual with a nice light brown sort of colour, hopefully the boil should be finished for about half 4 and it should be in the Fv for about half 5.
Bad news on the brew assistant :( she has a dose of something and is not well :?

Half way through the boil at the moment, Single eliment lecy boiler trying to boil 32 litres of wort when its -2 tends to make for a slow boil. Im definatley of the mind to be going all gas and thanks to a few people on the forum with some stuff im getting their.

Looks nice and simple, did you use some crystal? Gas is a good way to go especially if you can do a mobile set up in the garage or similar. Going gas and moving brew outside took a lot of stress off me as i don't have to worry so much about wrecking SWMBO kitchen. Off out to a party at 6 tonight so starting off with a nice bottle of bitter ans twisted, got to make this one of my next brews. Last time i tried it i got 5 gallons of stunningly clear beer but it honked of cheese! The whole lot went down the drain. I think it was a bad rection between the S04 yeast and the aurora hops. Not a combination i will try again!

Bunged in 20 gram of fuggles at 80c and left for 20 min then cooled to 30c put the top on the boiler and am now leaving it until I have had my Dinner as im hungry it will also give the brew time to form its cold break properly and things should settle to the bottom of the boiler helping me get clear beer. I hit 1045 which is not to bad considering I lost a litre of the first runnings due to open boiler tap ( I should have moped it up and dumped it back in the boiler  ) but all in all not to bad a day 7 hours all in ....

Done and wraped up. Thing is i still seem to have managed to get some break material in the FV. I started some Nottingham at about 12 ish it had a nice head on it by the time it was pitched. Time to sit back and enjoy the fruits of earlier brews.

Just took a test sample to check on the OG and it's down to 1022 at the moment and fermenting at 20C. It has a nice golden colour to it still sweet but that will go pretty much. The over riding taste is of hops which is a good thing but its a little on the bitter side for the SWMBO im happy with it though which is what counts.

Now been keged nice and clear, I am currently drinking what would not fit in the keg seeing as it was about a pint this is unfortunatley cloudy as the FV got a little swirled  its very green and bitter which will subside over time, Its nice and hopy to go with the bitternes as well, To say im happy is an understatement this has to be one of the best yet.
