Just finished. %$#@! warm here in Southern Cal. Starting gravity came out to be 1.043, hopped with only Cascade. This was truly a Recession Ale. I used 5 pounds of pale malt, 3 pounds of various malts(don't now exact percentage, but the bag had 2 row, 120L crystal, special roast) half pound of torrified wheat, half pound of 15L crystal. I also added 8 ounces of organic brown sugar to bump up the gravity a tad. Gravity was low I think due to not enough base malt. Wort tasted nice.

He had a too much Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. He thinks he's hot shit, but he's a real lightweight.
