Brewday tomorrow, first since last June!!! been up to my eyeballs in DIY and brewery (garage) been cluttered.
Anyway, not following any particular recipe but its gonna go something like this
I'm making 7 gallons (32 liters)
5.5 kg pale malt
500g crystal
200g torrified wheat
80g northdown 8% for 90 mins
50g fuggles 4% for 15 mins
50g fuggles at end of boil
I'm all excited now
wish me luck....

Well it's done, and I think I got a personal best time. about 4 and a half hours start to finish. only had a 60 minute boil (but very vigorous). OG came out at 1.042 which I am pleased with. now in fermenter for a few days, then it can settle for a week and hopefully have it on the hand pull by weekend after next.

Four days since throwing the yeast in and it has dropped from 1.042 to 1.015, tastes lovely...
Hope it goes down to about 1.012 which would make it about 4% abv but I don't think it will drop much further, will have to settle for a session beer at about 3.7% by the look of it.
That's fine, I'll just drink more
