Hi Simon,

Hope yours goes well.

Mine has been boiling for an hour now, so there's not long to go.

Cheers
Steve

Well done Steve !

I just dream of a problem free brewday, I am still having a mare with my new setup. It is suppose to pump everything everywhere . . . . but I am still humping buckets to shoulder height :(

After a near stuck sparge, I have just got to boil and it's one o'clock !

Hows it going now Simon - hope your set-up has behaved.

Mine is all gravity fed so lugging is mandatory :(

On the bright side though it all went well for me today :D

Cheers
Steve

Hi Steve

Had a bit of a taxi break (40 mile round trip) collecting my daughter from the train station, so only just got the yeast onto the brew at 1700hrs.

I gave up a gravity system in favour of this marvelous in-line pumped setup (on my way to a RIMS or even a HERMS) and for some reason the pump is misbehaving and I am thinking I should have stuck with the gravity. I am sure with some more time (and £'s) I will get it to work ok.

Glad yours was ok, what were you brewing ?

I re-brewed Briars Best on 15th Jan. First time round it came to it's best after 5 weeks. Give it time to round out the Crystal & Challenger. End of Feb is when I'll be expecting tasty things from it. 8)

I feel all protective when I hear someone's brewing a recipe I posted. I'm sure Horden Hillbilly, and Orfy are well over this feeling by now  Good luck! :D
