Grain Bill:

Mashing, last time the temp dropped a fair bit so in an attempt to improve it i used my fleece:

Starting temp was 68C, end temp was 62. I need a better coat:

Batch Sparging:

Spent grains for the compost:

Perle Hops and irish moss for the 90min,15min and steep additions:

Just coming to the boil. It was at this time i realised the hop strainer was still on the worktop:

Transfering to the fermentor after cooling. The flow was good despite no strainer, just had to tip the last litre or 2 out. Collected 21 litre's in all:

1.042 gravity reading, a little off but i can live with that.

A nice lively fermentation. It was all over and down to 1.006 in just a few days, seems faster than the S-04 i used before:

After 7 days i bottled it. Turned out darker that i wanted as i wanted it to look like a lager, too much crystal i guess. Still looks a tasty though:

I'll give it a week and then crack open a bottle and report back.
This is the second brew in a row where ive had the efficiency at around 65%. Any tips on how i can improve this would be appreciated.
