Evening gents,

Nice early start on saturday morning, up and dressed for 6 oclock, here gos...

recipe

3990g morris otter pale malt
250g crystal malt
50g chololate malt
320g torrified wheat

hops (full boil)
fuggles 25g
EKG 27g

late hops
fuggles 10g
EKG 10g
1 protofloc tablet

mash 65 C 1 hour 15 min
Windsor yeast

mash settled at 66 C , so i shut it up and left it at that

about 24 litres in the bucket,

i just rehydrated the yeast ,i didnt bother making a bottle starter this time pitched at 11.15, i collected about 24 litres ot 1.048
cracking moring, although i did have abit of a thick head from the night befor ,felt like i had little fish swimming behide my eyes :lol:

Good brewday and nice pics mate... Like the burner happen to have one the same but turned the feet the other way around as I found that the burner flames were bouncing off the boiler and back through the center of the burner, I also found im using less gas with the feet the right way round as well as the flame tips just lick the bottom of the boiler rather than being bent around.

hope the beer turnes out well :)

as for the burner damfoose ,i think mine works better with the feet upside down because im only using a low pressure regulater so the flames are abit more gentle, they just start to lick round the rim from under the boiler, i get a nice rolling boil seen as im starting with just 32 litres, its not using up too much gas, ive done my 5th 90 min boil and theres still plenty left in my 13kg bottle, so im quite happy with my set up (for now anyway :lol: )
your brewery set up is looking ace by the way mate!
