AG#20: Bitter Bitter!

Ran out Marc Ollorson's "Bitter Bitter" today - it's an all Challenger brew and I did it as follows:

Pale 3.86kg
Crystal 230g
Wheat malt 455g

Challenger (7.1%) 50g - 90min
Challenger (5.5% but old!) 20g - 15min

I landed up with about 24L at 1041 so almost bang on :D Pitched Nottingham into this one - I was hoping to use the Fullers slurry from my last brew, but it needs another 3-5 days or so to sit and mop up before I think about bottling that one. Still, should be done fairly quickly all being well - it's going into the keg once it has finished.

Piccies as follows:

Good old boil:

15 min hops waiting to be used...

Break and hops after the boil:

Run off into the FV:
