brewed 50L Fullers ESB as per Dave Lines recepie last weekend. All went well bar slight mishap with HLT - went to top it up during sparge and forgot lid was on top- dumped 5 lit 60c water on top above head hight and had a very hot impromptu shower! ggrrr
Mashams yeast really fast and 1046 to 1012 in 3 days and transferring to polycubes tonight. Looks and smells great.
Brought some electric scales from Tesco for £13 and they measure in 1gm increments. I reckon I've been overhopping on last few brews. Sounds like £13 well spent.

ESB is one of my favourite bottled beers, i'll be interested to know how close it is to the original. I havent heard of mashams yeast before, wheres it from.
