first brew

Hey Guys
Ok, my first brew was a success. I bought a Mr. Malt kit and made the brew with my girlfriend's Dad. Here are the details:
Recipe Volume: 23L
Yeast: safbrew WB-06
Malts: Pils 2kg Weizen 3kg
OG 1.043
Hops: Hersbrucker 60g
FG: not calculated (like the loser I am, I forgot the hydrometer at home on bottling day)
The beer has a nice taste. It did, however, turn out quite bubbly. When I flip the cap of it makes a loud popping noise (like sparkling wine). I think we added too much sugar on bottling day. The beer is a little cloudy as well. I think this might be partly due to the fact that cooling was not done quickly (cold water- bathtub).
Overall though, i must say I'm quite pleased. Thanks for all the help with my beginner questions. I can guarantee there's more to come.
Cheers
