No late addition / aroma hops at all then? Not at all like Belhaven, is it. Good luck with this Spring sesh ale.

I would be drinking that one straight from the fermenter

If I remember correctly the Edinburgh yeast is a true top cropper but clears very well in the keg when cooled down.

Satisfying when a fermentation goes mad though, eh?

1.011 now after 72hrs...don't you dare quit before 1.008. Going to gently re-introduce the yeasty raft to the beer beneath.

Four days, 96hrs if you're counting, and it's edging closer to FG of 1.009-1.008. Is 1.010 now.

Finished the keg tonight. This has been an OK beer in style I think. Not packed with flavour though I think this is hard to achieve in a 3%er. For my palate I'm glad to finish this one. After the initial oooo this is tasty I've done well in a small beer, there's nothing that hits you after the first good slug. Perhaps me, perhaps the style, but not a regular in my schedule.
