Sounds nice! Get the camera out for those gratuitous 'checking the OG' and associated shots

Had to dump the carapils as it smelt a bit off, so upped the pale by .5kg

YOINKS!

It looks like a bit of recirc really does up the efficiency.

1040 into the boiler!!!!!!!!! oops!

thats over 94% into the boiler

Thanks for the comments guys.

It's down to 1010 as of 2pm today. The sample tasted smooth with grapefruity, passion fruit notes. Really really nice. I think I might of found a house spring/summer ale. Typical it uses the expensive hops :-(

I'll try a bottle a bit for LAB

Holding steady at 1010, so have dropped the temp to 15c and will hopefully keg this on day 6 (fri) as it is already dropping clear.

That looks great. Two of my favorite hops and a nice looking recipe. What yeast went in?
Let us know how good it is when you're finally drinking the stuff.
A cascade pale ale was on my 'to do' list so i may blatently steal your recipe.
:D
